In 2011, Norsk Stein AS doubled its annual production capacity from 5 million to 10 million tons of stone. The expansion involved extensive construction work, including a new culvert with pump sumps and loading boxes, various foundations, retaining walls, slabs, a rock box (in-situ concrete structures), and new transformer buildings. The project required 16,000 m³ of concrete and 2,500 tons of reinforcement steel, reflecting the scale and complexity of the development.
